Terms & Conditions of Booking

The Holiday Contract:  These Terms & Conditions are listed on the website and will apply to your booking. A contract between you and the owners of the lodge(s) will come into existence when we accept your deposit or balance payment and issue written confirmation of your booking.   The contract binds you, as the lead guest & all the members of your party.   It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your party accept the terms of the contract set out in these terms & conditions of booking.  Failure to disclose all relevant information or comply with these terms may lead to termination of the contract & loss of the booking. 
 
Deposits:  A non-refundable deposit of £100 is payable at the time of booking.  If your stay is less than 8 weeks at the time of booking, the full balance will be required. 
 
Balance:  The balance must be paid so as to arrive no later than 8 weeks before the start of your holiday.  If the balance is not received by the due date then your holiday may be cancelled and any monies received may be forfeited.    
 
Damage Deposit:  We currently do not take a damage deposit however in making a booking you accept responsibility for any damage caused by you or any member of your party, including pets and agree to re-imburse us in full for any loss that we may incur as a result.  This also includes the loss or damage of any keys.  In the event of any damage an invoice will be sent to the lead guest for immediate payment.   With this in mind by agreeing to these terms and conditions you undertake to notify us immediately if you notice any damage on your arrival. 
 
Hot Tubs:  Use of the Hot Tub after 10pm and before 8am is forbidden.  Failure to comply with this rule will result in immediate termination of your holiday with no refund and a £100 fine will become due. 
We reserve the right to terminate a holiday without compensation where the unreasonable behaviour of the persons named on the booking or their guests may impair the enjoyment, comfort or health of other guests at Limefitt Park. 
Where compensation is sought and agreed because the tub is unable to be used due to a fault the value is deemed to be £15 per day maximum. 
 
Damage to the Property:  Please treat the lodge and facilities with due care so that other guests may continue to enjoy them.  Should you notice any damage in your lodge please let us know immediately so that we can take the appropriate action.   Your lodge will be inspected at the end or your stay and any charges incurred will be passed onto you. 
 
Payments:  We accept payment by credit cards (please add 2% charge), debit cards, bank transfers or by cheque or postal order.  We acknowledge any payments made by written confirmation.
 
Cancellations:  If you cancel your holiday more than 8 weeks before your holiday is due to start then your deposit and any monies received will be forfeit.  If you cancel less than 8 weeks prior to your stay then the full balance remains due and is not refundable. We strongly recommend you to take out suitable holiday insurance.  Circumstances resulting in any failed travel plans are deemed the clients own responsibility and the owner cannot be held responsible for loss of monies already paid. 
 
Accommodation: It is against the Park Rules for any lodge to sleep a number of persons greater than the number for which it was designed -  only those people listed on the booking form can occupy the lodge and use the facilities of Limefitt Park.  This is a legal requirement and is stated in 'The Park's Rules' and the lodge insurance and if this requirement is not met then your booking will be terminated and you will be asked to leave immediately with no refund made - furthermore a charge of £100 per night per unregistered guest will become due.  
Parties & gatherings at the property of people other than those listed on the booking form should have the permission of the owner.  The total number of people, including children should not exceed 8 at any time without our prior agreement. No more than two dogs allowed at any one time and in any case only the number of dogs listed on the booking form are allowed in the lodge. In accordance with the Park Rules and out of respect to other holiday homes owners/guests, noise must be kept to a minimum from 10pm with absolute quiet between 12 midnight and 0800 hours.
 
Park Rules:  You as the lead guest and all the members of your party agree to be bound by the Park Rules and Terms & conditions of the Park,  as displayed in the welcome folder in the lodge.  
 
Arrival & Departure times: On your day of arrival your accommodation arrival times are shown on your booking confirmation.  In order for us to prepare for our next guests we do ask that you vacate your accommodation by 10.am on your day of departure. 
 
Personal Property:  If requested we will try to return any personal property left in the lodge - A £10 charge plus Postage and Packing will apply.  Unclaimed articles will be donated to charity after 28 days. 
 
Smoking:  Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the lodges.  In the event that the lodge smells of smoking at the end of your stay, you will be asked to pay a minimum £100 cleaning fee and will be liable for any further costs and any losses that we may incur as a result of guests electing not to stay in the lodge because of the smell of smoke. 
 
Barbecues:  For safety reasons no barbecues of any type may be used on the lodge decking.  Please use the garden to the side of the lodge instead.  If using disposable barbecues please follow the instructions carefully and avoid the grass area.
 
Party type:   Limefitt Park and facilities are primarily intended for family and adult holidays only, although group bookings are considered.  Please note, we may request groups to pay a retainer at the time of booking.  Please contact us to discuss your requirements.   Single sex groups are not accepted - however exceptions may be made please contact us to discuss. We welcome all guests regardless of sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.
 
Disabled Guests:  We are sorry but our lodges have steps and are not easily accessible by guests who need to use wheelchairs.  We are happy to provide as much advice & information as possible to people with disabilities who wish to holiday at our lodges.  Please contact us for more information. 
 
Cots & Highchairs:  These are available at an extra charge, please enquire at time of booking .  If a cot is booked please remember to bring your own cot bedding. 
 
Children:  Please note that children remain the responsibility of their parents at all times.  Children under 14 years must not be left unattended in the lodge at any time.  
 
Dogs & other Pets: A maximum of two dogs are allowed in the lodge on the clear understanding that in no circumstances may they lie on the bedding or the chairs.  Dogs must not be left unattended in the accommodation or elsewhere at any time.  Failure to comply to this requirement may result in termination of your holiday.  Dogs/Pets are not allowed on the settees or beds under any circumstances.  If dog/pet hairs are found on the bed linen or settee you will be invoiced for any extra cleaning costs. We reserve the right to decline certain breeds of dog.  Where dogs are permitted they must always wear a collar and identity tag & be kept on a lead under control of a responsible adult at all times.  We reserve the right to require the owner of any dog to remove it from the lodge if we consider it a nuisance or to be interfering with the general comfort of other guests.  At the end of the holiday any evidence of the pet must be cleared from the lodge and gardens.  We are unable to take bookings for the following breeds of dog: American Pit Bull, Japanese Tosa, Dogue Argentina, Fila Brasileiro or any other dog deemed dangerous by the Dangerous Dogs Act. 
Assistance dogs for disabled guests are welcome but you should let us know in advance if you are intending to bring one
 
Right of Entry:  We reserve the right to enter the lodge at any time under any circumstances or emergency.
 
Electrical Equipment/Appliances:  Only the electrical equipment & appliances supplied by us within the accommodation are to be used.  For your safety and the safety of others and to prevent a potential fire risk the use of your own electrical equipment requiring a mains voltage is not permitted. 
 
Behaviour Standards:  By entering into this contract you undertake as the lead guest & all the members of your party to adopt the standards of behaviour outlined in these terms and conditions and Park Rules and you accept that any breach of these behaviour standards may bring about termination of your holiday.  We reserve the right to terminate a holiday without compensation where the standards of behaviour outlined in the park rules and these terms and conditions of the persons named on the booking or their guests may impair the enjoyment, comfort or health of other guests at Limefitt.
 
Availability of facilities:  In some circumstances accommodation, entertainment or a facility may be temporarily withdrawn due to maintenance, renovation, adverse weather conditions or any other factor outside our control.  We reserve the right to make such alterations as are necessary in the above circumstances without prior notice, & are unable to pay compensation for any inconvenience caused.  Certain facilities are subject to an additional cost.  Please note availability of off-peak facilities like those at the leisure facilities at White Cross Bay, the on-site shop and the Haybarn Inn may be reduced or restricted at certain times of the year.  Please enquire at time of booking.
 
Data Protection Policy Statement:  We will hold information provided by you to us in connections with  your booking(s).  It will be used in connection with your booking.
 
Limitation of Liability:  We accept responsibility for those arrangements of your holiday which are within our control, but we cannot accept liability for any injury, loss or damage, suffered by you or any other member of your party. 
 
Comments/Complaints:  We work very hard to ensure you have an enjoyable holiday and we hope your chosen property meets with your approval.  Obviously there are times when something can go wrong.  We ask you to inform the owner as soon as possible during occupation on the contact numbers provided so we can try to resolve any problems as soon as possible.  We regret that any complaints received on departure or at a later date cannot be effectively dealt with as it should be appreciated that it is not possible to correct or investigate effectively any problem at that time. If still dissatisfied then you must write to us within 28 days of your return.
 
Right to Evict:  The owner of the lodge may terminate your holiday and in such case the lead guest and members of his or her party must leave the accommodation, (without compensation being payable to the guest(s) if: 1.  it is deemed necessary by the owner where there is a serious breach by the guest(s) of the contract or the guest(s) or his or her party's behaviour endangers the safety of other visitors or members of staff; or 2.  Any complaints are made of anti-social behaviour or unreasonable breakages or damage occurs or smoking restrictions are not observed. 
 
Variation:  We reserve the right to make reasonable amendments or additions to these terms and conditions without notice.
